Common Errors intermediate medium
Wrong pronoun case, agreement or who/whom confusion.
Common Errors — Frequent mistakes Indian learners make.
1. Subject pronouns (I, he, she, we, they) for subjects; object pronouns (me, him, her, us, them) for objects. 2. The pronoun must agree with its antecedent: Ravi lost his book. 3. Who (subject) vs whom (object). 4. After a preposition use the object form: between you and me. 5. Each/everyone take a singular pronoun: Everyone must bring his or her book.
Common errors: "Me and my friend went" (use "My friend and I went"); "between you and I" (use "me" after a preposition).
