Either / Neither

Either = one of two; neither = not one and not the other.

Usage — Common choices, confusions and preposition errors.

Rules

1. either...or: You can have either tea or coffee. 2. neither...nor: Neither Ravi nor his brother came. 3. Either/neither of + plural noun, singular verb (formal): Either of the answers is correct. 4. Agreement with the nearer subject in either...or/neither...nor. 5. "Me neither" in replies: I don't like it. — Me neither. 6. neither + singular noun: Neither answer is right.

Explanation

"Neither" is already negative — do not add "not": "Neither of them came" (not "Neither of them didn't come").

Either का मतलब दो में से एक, neither का मतलब दोनों में से कोई नहीं। Neither के साथ और नकारात्मक शब्द नहीं आता।
