Prepositions intermediate medium
The most frequently misused prepositions.
Prepositions — Time, place and direction prepositions.
1. married to (not "married with"): She is married to Ravi. 2. good at (not "good in"): He is good at chess. 3. interested in (not "interested for"). 4. depend on, listen to, afraid of, proud of, angry with (person) / angry at (thing). 5. insist on, succeed in, capable of, consist of, prevent from. 6. arrive at (small place) / arrive in (city/country). 7. discuss (no preposition): discuss the matter (not "discuss about"). 8. since vs for; in vs on vs at (see dedicated topics).
Prepositions after verbs/adjectives are fixed — learn them as chunks: married to, good at, depend on, listen to.

Q1. Find the error: "I congratulated him for his success."
Answer: for
💡 'Congratulate someone on something'.
Q2. Find the error: "She is afraid from snakes."
Answer: from
💡 'Afraid of snakes' is correct.
Q3. Find the error: "He was angry on me."
Answer: on
